What a busy week it's been before Christmas. Here I am with my friend Carrie on a visit to some local shops. 

Strawberry Picking

We went to Somerfields and picked some strawberries. We got some really big ones - yummo!

Kaka St Park

We visited Kaka Street Park - they have a cool roundabout, swing and climbing frame. We like saying hello to all the passers by through the park. 

Pilot bay

Loving the feel of the sand between my toes and the cool water on my feet at Pilot Bay with the guys group today!

We enjoyed a walk across the new bridge that has been built by the Polytechnic! 

Donkeys

We went to visit the new baby donkey at Windermere.

Farm visit

I really enjoyed or visit to the Balagan Farm. I especially liked the ponies and the pigs.

The marina

I enjoyed my outing to the marina. We checked out some of the cool boats.

I enjoyed spending time in the Wilrose Garden today as we all had a garden tidy up.

Merivale community garden

We watered the garden and collected worms this week at the Merivale Community garden.

Maori Culture

We were all enjoying singing Waiata in Maori Culture this week. 

Gate Pa

I enjoyed a nice walk along the path to the historic site of the Battle of Gate Pa and saw these awesome Maori carvings!

Display House

I visited the Tropical Display House with my friends and had a walk around the rose gardens.

Outings

I enjoyed my outing to Palmers and got to sit in this cool chair.

Tactile

I listened to many different sounds in tactile but it was the sound of plastic bags that interested me the most.

Guys group

We had an outing to hunting and fishing for guys group.

We visited a few local sites on our afternoon outing to check on the Worms at Enivirohub!

Merivale community garden

We looked at the new garden beds at the Merivale Community gardens. We are looking at growing some veges in some of them.

Saint Bernard

This week I visited the donkeys at Windermere. I really like the owners Saint Bernard dog called Frodo. He was very friendly.
