Last week of the year

This is our last week at Arohanui for the year. I have had a great year. I look forward to seeing everyone after our holiday

Friends

I looked pretty smart coming in the other day I had a bit of a photo shoot with some friends. One of my goals is to create a photo display - so maybe one of these shots can go on it!

Yatton Park

The sun was out so this week for Guys Group my friends and I went to explore in Yatton Park. My mate Modz took some cool photos and we saw some little dogs. Walking around the park was fun.

Horses

I listened to all sorts of horse noises in planet earth sensory. I heard them running and neighing and saw pictures of them on the t.v.

My sensory time

Another week of enjoying my sensory today was vanilla and peach. My senses are feeling very relaxed

Pampered or what...

We had a Pamper day and I got a hand and foot massage, the foot massage was so good I nearly fell asleep, thanks Angie.

Going to the beach

In planet earth sensory we heard waves crashing and seagulls squaking. I felt the soft sand and this hard shell. Felt like I was sitting on the beach!

There were arctic animals for planet earth sensory this week. The music was very relaxing and there were lots of different animals to look at.

Community outing

Today I walked around memorial park. It was sunny and I got some fresh air too.

Pool & Darts

Me and the guys went up to the Marble Bar to play pool and darts this afternoon. It was mean fun! 

Guys Group

Today in guys group i went out and enjoyed the sun with my friends. We went for a walk to feed the very friendly ducks and then we got to watch Jason and Angie have a turn on the flying fox. 

Donkey Farm

Today while the sun was shining I went on an outing to the Donkey farm with my friends. I got to feed the donkeys carrots. I also got to walk around and meet the other animals at Olives Donkey farm like her cat, big dog, chickens and her 22 year old tortoise. 

Pacific Islands

We had a lovely visitor in who came to show us how to do a Samoan slap dance and make ula lole (lole leis). 

Mirimiri

I always look forward to my Mirimiri session on a Monday morning. We listened to and watched dolphins and sealife and had some lovely smelling candles burning too. 

Tauranga art gallery

I went on an outing to the art gallery. I explored upstairs and downstairs and it was all really cool and interesting. 

Foot massage

I really enjoy my regular foot massages! Soooooooo relaxing! 

Collecting flax

Here I am out in the garden collecting flax and checking out all the plants and walking around on the crunchy path

Scavenger hunt

Today we all enjoyed a scavenger hunt at memorial park we were looking for different coloured leaves, the highest tree, flowers and stones. I had a really big walk too.

Yatton park

We went rock hunting in Yatton Park - and enjoyed a nice walk around the pathway. 

Feathers and bright colours

Here I am chillin in sensory with these funky bright feather boas. I really liked the fluffy feeling on me. Makes me want to snuggle them!

Nice day for a walk!

I got to have a pleasant walk at the historic village today! The weather was beautiful.

Let's move

We gneed t to do some awesome movements to music, I even managed to do the sit stretches, touching my feet, my muscles feel great.

Tect helicopter

It was good to see the Tect rescue helicopter. I had a good wander around to see everything.
