Wilrose Christmas Party

 Our Wilrose centre celebrated our 2022 Christmas party with a disco day and pizza and Ice cream for lunch. We all had so much fun.

Chill Friday today, 

 

Just a little walk

Had a little walk around the Art room this afternoon.

 

Forklift

 We had a forklift come out to the Wilrose garden to move the troff so we have the room to put up our tunnel house. I can’t wait until summer and I can go for a hikoi to see our tunnel house up!

Relaxing afternoon

 I had a great time relaxing on the beanbags in the sensory room and hanging out the centre’s friendly toy gorilla!

Sensory Lights

 I love to relax in the sensory room. We have lights, smells, sounds and things to see. It’s different every day! 

Yatton Park

 I enjoyed a lovely morning at Yatton Park with my friends Matt and Bruce. We had a walk and checked out the stream / fountain. It’s relaxing down there aye!

Kulim Park

 I had such a neat morning with my friends down at Kulim Park. There was a lot to see and hear - lots of kids and families with their dogs, bikes and scooters. The sun was shining on the water and we even took the guitar down there too.

 I used to live with Gayleen so I enjoy hanging out with her at Wilrose when she comes in. We chilled out on the sofa together and listened to music.

Gardening

 We have been doing a lot of gardening and planting at the centre as we are hoping to begin a native plant nursery soon. There are lots of smells around and green seedlings. I can’t wait for the weather to get. War,we so we can spend time in the Wilrose garden. 

Having a Hikoi

 I was feeling energised so thought I would go for a walk around the centre to see what everyone else was doing.

 I had a beautiful, yummy hangi I couldn’t stop eating it mmmm. I look forward to our next one

Orangapani Reserve

 Me and my friends went to visit the Orangapani Reserve. It was neat getting out and about and enjoying the fresh air.

Sensory

 I love my afternoon sessions , chilling and relaxing on the bean bag. It was very soothing.

Disco

 There were lots of lights up to see in the art room for the disco dance party. I enjoyed listening to some of the beats that were played too. 

Mirimiri

 I felt nice and relaxed in planet earth sensory this week. The room smelt like strawberry and I had a hand massage with some moisturiser. I liked listening to the relaxing music too.

Disco Day

 We had a disco day at Wilrose. I enjoyed listening to the music and watching my friends dancing about. We had yummy pumpkin soup for lunch and some fried bread too. 

Keyboard / Music

 I sat in the art room and listened to music with my friends today. We were listening to 80s tunes and making a playlist for an upcoming disco.  I even pressed some keys on the keyboard that made a cool noise. 

Relaxing

 I had a yummy yummy morning tea today and I’m bushed. So here I am chilling and having a rest for my big weekend ahead. Hope you all enjoy your weekend too.

Matariki

 I enjoy being with my friends and listening to the Matariki stories and making our own Matariki cluster picture. 

Sensory

 I am very happy to be back at Wilrose Ahoranui and back in my favourite beanbag relaxing in the sensory room.

 Where am I today my bean bag is empty I’m not feeling well today so I’m at home. I’ll see you when I’m better
