Christmas decorations

 I enjoyed .istening to lots of classic Christmas songs while the Christmas decorations went up for Fridays Christmas party! I like how our Christmas tree looks! 

Ila Park in Ohauiti

I had a nice morning at Ila Park wi5 my friends, I thoroughly enjoyed kicking back in the bean bag under a tree listening to all the birds and horses in the paddock.

 

Wilrose Centre Garden Stroll

I went for a stroll with Mauri Ora to check out the gardens and tunnel house.

 

Icy planet earth sensory

 I enjoyed relaxing in planet earth sensory this week. I felt this chunk of ice that felt cold on my hand. There was a whale and polarbezr in the icy cold water. What animals do you know that live in the arctic?

Community Outing

 Going to Ferguson Park was so amazing. I was able to walk outdoors, sit on a park bench and feel the the sand between my toes. I enjoy spending with my friends.

Fergerson park beach

 I had a great morning out at Fergerson Park Beach. I felt the sand between my toes and went for a small hikoi. I enjoyed sitting listening to the sounds out in the fresh sea breeze. 

Nature sensory

 I req,,y enjoyed watching the nature video in sensory and touching and smelling the flowers an leaves that were brought in

Cards

 Today I saw my friends playing cards and was quite interested so thought I would join them for a game before morning tea this morning.

Tongan theme

 I had an exciting morning , it was fun ,we had a Tongan theme and I got to dress up  , we had Tongan music , and we learned the  days of the week in Tongan. 

Nature sensory

 I'm just getting settled into my planet earth sensory session  ,  we are watching a relaxing  quiet  DVD called nature symphony today. 

Sensory

 I had a very relaxing sensory , we watched wild life whilst listening to sacred spirit and we had lovely scents from the diffuser. 

Sensory and relaxing

 I liked relaxing on my couch and smelling the aromatherapy blackberry and guava flavour in the air. I felt very relaxed. There were some different sensory textured balls to check out too.

Park and horses

 I had a great day today  , we got out in the sunshine and went to a new park in hirini  ,  our group then went for a walk to see the horses which were just up the road from the park , I really enjoyed my day .

Activities

 I have been apart of many art activities this week lots of paper activities , it's great being able to be apart of the group and to socialize. 

Psychedelic rave

 I had a really great session in sensory today with the theme being psychedelic rave lots of colours  I even got to hold some really bright and colourful glow bands,  lovely end to my week .

Musical / grease

  I had a great sensory session with my friend's today . It was a grease theme , with the movie and  music it was great fun. 

Shiny things

 We had a shiny things sensory session where we enjoyed some relaxing music and we got to smell some lovely diffuser scents , I just relaxed with our big fluffy animals and enjoyed everything going on around me .

Animal sensory

 I have been apart of various activities this week, but I particularly loved our animal sensory. I watched animals, and listening to their noises aswell as some relaxing piano music. I was so relaxed I had a moi.

Chilling in sensory

 Nice relaxing afternoon chillin to music, I laughed and swayed to the gentle sounds of the different instruments and touched some foam .

Matariki

 This week in twinkl we celebrated Matariki. I enjoyed listing to the Matariki music and listening to the names and meaning behind each star. Check out this cool Matariki board that everyone helped to make. 

Foot bath

I enjoyed soaking my feet in the warm water bath, while listening too water noises like rivers, waterfalls and babling brooks. 

Beautiful sounds

 I felt so relaxed in the sensory room, I tried a a few different spot to sit but like the comfy couch the most. The aromatherapy defuser smelt good  and there were pretty lights around the room to watch while I listened to the relaxing piano music.

Balls and movement

 I enjoyed planet earth sensory this week. There were lots of different balls. All of these balls had different textures for me to feel. I liked the green one. I liked listening to the relaxation music in my beanbag I felt very relaxed.

Bubbles

 We made a bouncing bubbles mixture in Twinkl. We had to be very carefully when we bounced the bubbles not pop them. Ther were bubbles everywhere!

Friendship

 I love being able to come to Wilrose and hang out with my mates! Today Wendy and I looked at a magazine 

Island day

 I had so much fun today in our Island themed day. We had a cool Island quiz with a music round and general knowledge round, and then I watched my friends hula dance and do the limbo! I really enjoyed relaxing to the different Island Music.
