Citz club for lunch!

I got to go to the Tauranga Citizens Club for lunch with some of my friends from Wilrose. The food was really yummy and I liked having a good look around too. We worked up an appetite with a walk across the Matapihi Bridge first.

I got a new haircut on the weekend! All the staff reckon I look pretty cute!

Art Room Activities

I get up to all sorts in the art room. I like listening to the radio and socialising with my friends. There are lots of interesting things to look at and do. One morning this week I watched colourful towers of blocks being built and knocked down!

Music

I like chilling in music. I don’t like all the songs chosen by my friends - Celine Dion for example -  ha ha! But I like most music and watching the others dance is funny!

Donkey farm

I went with my friends out to see the donkeys. There was also a tortoise and a giant St. Bernard dog called Frodo. He was very friendly.

Chilling out

I really like sensory sessions cos I get to chill out and even get a nap in sometimes! 

Fun Friday karaoke

It was fun Friday today here at the centre! We spent the afternoon doing karaoke. I checked it out for a bit and cheered on my mates but I preferred to chill out on my chair and listen and soak up the music from afar as everyone was super loud and fab!
