Far it's been cold lately aye?! Hasn't stopped me getting outside and up to the merivale garden though, man they are doing some awesome work up there...

Here are some pics of yesterday's antics :)

First up is our surprise visit from a kitten the girls found, that we then took down to our friends at ARRC, and then we got the loos flowing with some exercise and dancing. Nothing like tapping the ol feet huh.

Here's a couple of pics of my mates and I at the classic flyers aviation museum. We went there the other day for guys group and then had a Kai afterwards. It was really choice and I really enjoyed being amongst all the planes in the big huge hanger. Good job guys for fundraising. Have a great weekend

Kia ora everybody,

Just a quick update from me down here at Wilrose. Man what a busy week, yesterday all of us guys went out to acquire some more beer crates for the recycled building project, I went up to Greerton for my sensory session and I enjoyed our garden out back for quite a while - its real choice being able to get out there and wander around when there is a fine spell in the weather, can't wait to see all the big changes that might be happening. Speaking of gardens, on Wednesday afternoon we went up to help out at the merivalle community garden, all of my mates got busy picking veges for Friday lunch and I sat in my favourite spot and just enjoyed the fresh air/ giving the occasional order.haha. Man it's becoming real beautiful up there too.

My new programme

Yesterday we started our new programme I now have a group life skills with all my mates I have art and we are planning a big project about Maori legend music therapy where I get my beat on and some toe tapping involved my personal favourite Maori culture we are planing a trip to Te Puia in Rotorua.

Yesterday me and the guys went to putaruru for the day. It was mean as. After the lovely drive over there we spent the morning at the New Zealand timber museum looking at all of the old and refurbished stuff from the mill. We also saw a huge collection of native birds and a beautiful old wharekarakia. For lunch we had a big feed of fish and chips and stopped of at the kaimai look out on the way home. All in all, great day out with the lads.
